The Education Entitlement Service (EES) strives to deliver outstanding services for our customers, predominately the children of Coventry, who may be requiring access to education or alternative education provision. We ensure vulnerable children are appropriately supported; have a voice, that hopefully leads to their high achievement and excellent progress.

The EES is made up of a diverse range of teams all working together to recognise, support and apply innovative solutions to address the growing issues in relation to trying to educate some of our most vulnerable pupils in schools. 

The Outdoor Education Service made up of experienced staff members provides high quality outdoor and residential experiences within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.

What is the job role?

This is a 20 hour per week, term time only post - salary will be pro rata to the number of weeks / hours worked

THIS JOB IS BASED AT PLAS DOL-Y-MOCH, NORTH WALES

This role will require weekend working

The role is to provide a clean, sanitised, tidy and safe environment for the provision of a quality service.  

To assist the cook in the kitchen and undertake general kitchen and dining room duties such as getting everything ready for evening meals.

Cleaning all areas of the centre to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. 

Undertaking laundry duties including transportation of linen and the operation of industrial washing machines / dryers.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).


 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person to join our support staff team at Plas Dol-y-Moch, Coventry's Outdoor Education Centre in North Wales
