Adult Social Care encompasses a wide range of vital services covering;

  • Social Work Services - we work with individuals who have care and support needs, and with their carers be they older or younger adults
  • Occupational Therapy and Equipment Services - we aim to enhance people’s ability to live safely and independently in their home
  • Internally Provided Services – we provide direct support to people enabling those in most need to live independent and fulfilled lives
  • Business Systems and Continuous Improvement - we provide a range of services including Financial Assessments, provider payment processing and Business Systems administration. The Business Systems team provide support to Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and Education Services.

What is the job role?

Based in Mental Health Services, this varied role would cover a range of front and back-office admin duties including administrative support tasks, dealing with and resolving queries over the phone or face to face, working with various Council ICT systems, inputting data for reporting purposes, maintaining computerised and manual filing systems, retrieving information as requested, ensuring that information is kept up to date and note-taking.

Who are we looking for?

We are currently looking for warm, positive, and dedicated individuals to work in Mental Health Services, who can provide person centred support to adults and older people.   

In return, we would need you to have excellent communication skills, be flexible, have good ICT skills, be able to deal with a diverse range of people, be able to demonstrate sensitivity and empathy, manage conflicting priorities, and own workloads.
