What is the job role?

The Directors of Houlton CofE Multi Academy Trust and the Headteacher and pupils of St Gabriel’s CofE Academy are looking to appoint a Site Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the maintenance and development of the school site.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to care for, develop and maintain our school site ensuring the safety, security and cleanliness of the facilities as well as representing the school when dealing with contractors and suppliers. They will be skilled in carrying out reactive repair and maintenance work as well as having attention to detail when cleaning. 

We are looking for someone with a proven track-record of site maintenance combined with a positive approach and a desire to help develop a great community facility. Candidates must have experience including premises management and health and safety. Candidates will have a flexible approach and attitude, and be self-motivated to manage their own workload whilst being comfortable with taking instruction.  The role will include key holder responsibilities.
