Blue Coat School has recently joined the Inspire Education Trust, a Multi Academy Trust made up of 5 primary schools located in the Coventry and Warwickshire authorities.  Both the school and the MAT are excited over the opportunities that joining the MAT will bring, most especially around career progression for support staff employed by the Trust. This is an exciting time to be joining Blue Coat Church of England School and Inspire Education Trust.

We are looking for an experienced Lead Finance Officer to join Blue Coat School.  This post is a vital role in providing robust operational financial management and development to the Head of Finance, leadership team and governing body.

Your role will be to support the Head of Finance and Leadership Team in providing financial management and direction in all aspects of finance within Blue Coat School, as well as contributing to the strategic direction of the school and the trust.

The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified (AAT, ACCA/ACMA/CIPFA) and will have a proven track record of academy financial procedures. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be able to communicate confidently and clearly, and will be both a good team player and a capable leader, willing to make sound strategic decisions in line with the trust’s overall aims and ethos.
