What is the job role?
Corley Centre is a Coventry maintained secondary special school for children with complex communication and interaction difficulties, set within North Warwickshire countryside.
Our students are at the heart of all we do. A significant number have an autism diagnosis. The school was awarded NAS Autism Accreditation in 2018 and continues to build upon this success. Students bring a wide range of abilities and aspirations, special educational needs, vulnerabilities, challenges and behaviours. Student attainment covers the full National Curriculum and GCSE/vocational range, hence our equal focus on the personal and academic curricular, with all subjects taught by subject specialists.
The Headteacher vacancy arises due to the retirement of the current post holder following 15 years at the school, 9 as Headteacher.
