What is the job role?

We are seeking two Social Workers to join our Horizon team, with one position available on a 12-month fixed-term basis and the other on a permanent basis.

Collaborating with Police, Youth Offending Team, Health Practitioners, and educators, your role aims for attitudinal and behavioural change, reducing offending and reoffending. Contribute to lowered Police intelligence, reduced remand figures, increased engagement with Youth Offending Orders, deterring gang association, reducing missing episodes, promoting education/employment, and improving home relationships. 

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates with a recognised professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, or CQSW), Social Work England registration and individuals who are dedicated professionals with a passion for working with at-risk youth.
