What is the job role?

We have two posts available within the All Age Disability Service:

  • A part time (24 hours per week) post in the transitions team for a registered social worker. We welcome applications from experienced as well as newly qualified social workers for this post.
  • A full-time post for a registered social worker in the 26+ team. Please note that this post is open to experienced social workers.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for enthusiastic social workers who is passionate about working in a strengths-based way to support people with disabilities in Coventry.

You will need:

  • Good knowledge of social work practice and legislation including the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005;
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills;
  • An ability to work as part of a team
