                             £20,043 - £23,484 pro rata to hours and weeks worked

                             Actual salary £17,315 - £20,288 per annum

Hours:                37 per week term time only plus 5 days

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Applied Arts Technician to join our Creative Arts team at our school in Coventry.

The successful candidate will work with teaching staff to provide students with an effective Applied Arts experience and to ensure high levels of achievementYou will assist small groups and individuals with practical work,  providing a technician service to teachers and students.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy and IT skills
  • Knowledge of COSHH and ESCC regulations in relation to the safe handling of and storage of chemicals
  • Knowledge of safe working practices in relation to the handling and usage of hazardous equipment and tools.
  • Be a dedicated professional with the ability to inspire students
  • Set high standards for themselves and others
  • Work successfully in partnership with parents and our community
