Grade 5 £22,183 - £27,741 Per Annum, Pro rata (£11.49 - £14.37 per hour)
35 hours, 39 weeks per year – Fixed term to 31.08.2023 with potential of becoming permanent

Templars’ Primary School is a good school (Ofsted 2017), where the whole team is committed to improving the life opportunities of all our pupils and staff, located in a modern building in the south west of the city. We have high aspirations for the children in our wonderfully diverse catchment area, our children are central to all we do.
We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and flexible Learning Mentor to join our team. This role plays a pivotal part in helping to support students to reach their full potential and contributing to the ongoing success of the school. Successful candidates will develop and deliver successful programmes and projects aimed to support and aid the progression of students.
The successful candidate will have:
- A passion for working with students in accessing the curriculum to the full, to ensure that they make excellent progress and reach their true potential.
- A commitment to drive the raising of standards which have an impact on learning and monitoring progress, focusing on established testing and tracking systems and adjusting provision to meet changing needs.
- The ability to work both using their own initiative and as part of a wider team.
- The ability to work with individual students in addition to small groups.
