What is the job role?
We are delighted to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to join our dedicated pastoral team as our full time School Counsellor.
Candidates will have full accreditation from a recognised professional body: BACP Accreditation, UKCP registration or BPC (required) and bring an insight into and experience of managing mental health issues and other pastoral concerns encountered during school years, in the belief that safe, secure and healthy students make better learners, citizens and contributors to school life. You will be working closely with the Leadership team and teaching staff responsible for the pastoral care of students.

Full time 8.00am – 4.00pm Mon-Thurs 8.00pm – 3.30pm Fri
Term time only plus teacher training days
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
