What is the job role?
About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative excellent classroom practitioner to join our Technology Department, who is committed to providing the very best outcomes for all of our students. You will be passionate about the role of teaching Engineering and you must be able to teach Technology across all key stages.
At present, we are delivering OCR Cambridge National Engineering Manufacture and experience delivering this type of qualification would be advantagous. A knowledge of Electronics/systems and control, Engineering and GCSE / Sixth Form, AS/A2 product design and OCR national or BTEC Engineering would be desirable.
Knowledge of Engineering, Design & Technology/Product design is essential and the ability to teach across the creative spectrum of subjects is an advantage.
Applications from new entrants to the profession will be welcomed and excellent support is available for an NQT.
The Technology department provide the opportunity to work within a well-qualified and experienced team to make a real difference to the learning of our young people.
