Our Values

Our Values are:

About the team we are recruiting to

Coventry is the Phoenix city and it’s rising again as it transforms for an exciting future.

The city famed as the home of the UK motor industry and a multicultural city of peace, reconciliation and sanctuary has enjoyed an amazing few years – and there is lots more to come.

It has been the UK City of Culture, a host city for the Commonwealth Games, and a venue for major events such as Radio 1’s Big Weekend and the MOBOs.  It has welcomed international rugby league, major stars including The Rolling Stones and Rihanna and, as one of the best digitally connected cities in the UK, it is pioneering work in new technologies such as autonomous and electric vehicles.

The pace of change has been amazing, and it’s being driven by an ambitious Council that is changing just as fast.

The year as UK City of Culture has been a springboard for a new-look city centre and the opening of new venues and attractions, and has helped the city welcome thousands of tourists and day trippers. Now, work is underway to build a legacy from that year that will benefit the city and its people for generations to come.

That includes attracting businesses and jobs to the city so local people can take up new opportunities; investing in roads and transport connections; becoming a greener, more environmentally-friendly city; and giving everyone that lives, works and studies in the city a better quality of life, with improved health and wellbeing and care for the vulnerable.

What is the job role?
