Coventry Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (CSCP) and Coventry Safeguarding Adults Boards (CSAB) operate to co-ordinate the delivery of safeguarding services for Coventry residents, constantly striving for improvements to ensure the best possible outcomes for Coventry.

The CSCP and CSAB has 3 statutory partners West Midlands Police, Coventry City Council and Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group.

What is the job role?

Maternity Cover 12 months 

22.50 hours per week – Wednesday - Friday

Come and join us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service’s journey.  We are a team that works with colleagues and professional agencies to support Child Protection Conferences, Adults Safeguarding and Position of Trust meetings within Children’s Services and contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families and Adults across the City.

This role will be based within the Professional Support Service Quality Assurance Team and will support a range of complex meetings such as Child Protection Conferences, Adult Safeguarding and Position of Trust Meetings ensuring a smooth and efficient process in preparation for, during and after the meetings, producing comprehensive electronic outcomes and minutes in accordance with the Legislative requirements and ensuring a positive and professional experience for children and families.

You will work closely with the Meeting Chair to complete any required after-conference work, such as distributing outcomes and recording those on the in-house case management systems.

You will be required to support service improvement and Ofsted priorities across Children’s Services and continue to work towards our over-arching goal, making a difference in improving the lives of Children, Families and Young People.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
